Little River Baptist Church was organized in 1845, as a ministry outreach of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Mountain Rest, SC. Our church joined fellowship with Twelve Mile Association in 1846 with 45 members and remained in fellowship until 1970.
We held our first Homecoming service on October 5, 1975. The afternoon was filled with singing and the dedication of the new Sunday School rooms.
In 1979, our church requested membership in the Beaverdam Baptist Association.
Little River Baptist Church celebrated 150 years of ministry in October of 1995.
